New Horizons je spreman za titulu "najbolja igra", a iako ovog puta nisu nominovane dodatne first-party Nintendo igre, lista ima obilje dodatnih Switch naslova. Hades, na primer, ima impresivnih 8 nominacija. Tu su i značajne Switch igre kao Ori and the Will of the Wisps, DOOM Eternal, Spiritfarer, Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition i Minecraft Dungeons.
Ipak, većinom ovogodišnjih nominacija dominiraju PlayStation ekskluzive. The Last of Us Part II ima rekordnih 13 nominacija, Ghost of Tsushima uzeo je 10, a Marvelov Spider-Man: Miles Morales dobio je 7 nominacija.
Nama je drago da je i Cyberpunk 2077 na listi jer koliko god pojedinci kritikovali igru činjenica je da su mnoge stvari u njoj urađene na specifičan i napredan način.
