Baldur's Gate 3 i The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom prednjače sa po četiri nominacije, dok više kategorija otkriva intrigantne igre. Na primer, Street Fighter 6 se provlači do Mortal Kombata 1 za najbolju igru za više igrača. Ukoliko se pitate zašto velike igre kao što su Marvelov Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake 2 i Assassin's Creed Mirage nijesu nominovane, to je iz jednostavnog razloga što tek treba da izađu, ili su upravo izašli a to nije dovoljno vremena da ih sudije pogledaju. Međutim, očekujemo da će ovi naslovi biti u konkurenciji za Ultimate Game of the Year, koja se otvara kasnije.
Konkretno, 23. oktobra ćemo saznati nominacije za nagradu Ultimate Game of the Year, najboljeg izvođača i najboljeg sporednog izvođača, a glasanje će početi uživo istog dana prije zatvaranja 27. oktobra.
